Nivolumab bij longkanker
Nivolumab (Opdivo) is een anti-PD-1-antilichaam met brede indicaties bij NSCLC. In combinatie met ipilimumab (CheckMate 227) of chemotherapie plus ipilimumab (CheckMate 9LA) vormt het een alternatief voor pembrolizumab-gebaseerde schema's in de eerste lijn.

CheckMate 227: nivolumab-ipilimumab bij PD-L1 ≥1%, chemo-vrij schema. CheckMate 9LA: korte chemokuur (2 cycli) plus nivolumab-ipilimumab als eerstelijns. Bijzonder geschikt voor patiënten die langdurige chemotherapie willen vermijden.
Neoadjuvant
CheckMate 816: neoadjuvant nivolumab plus chemotherapie verbetert pCR (24% vs 2.2%) en event-free survival bij resectabel stadium IB-IIIA NSCLC.
