Transarteriële chemo-embolisatie: intra-arteriële toediening van chemotherapie (doxorubicine of cisplatine) met embolisatiepartikels (drug-eluting beads, DEB-TACE, of conventionele TACE). Indicatie: BCLC stadium B (intermediair, multinodullair, geen vasculaire invasie, Child-Pugh A-B). Responspercentage: ~50% (mRECIST). Meerdere sessies typisch nodig. TACE plus systemische therapie (atezolizumab-bevacizumab of lenvatinib) wordt onderzocht als combinatie.
