We read with great interest the publication by Facondo et al,1 who reported the results of a unicentric phase 2 prospective trial evaluating toxicity and early oncologic outcomes of a novel radiation therapy device (GammaPod) delivering postoperative single-fraction partial breast irradiation (sf-PBI) in patients with low-risk breast cancer. Although the results appear promising, 4 points warrant further discussion.
