From Constraints to Confidence: A Roadmap of 'Simple' SBRT for Low-Resource Clinical Environments

Abstract (original)

Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) or SABR has revolutionized radiation therapy, building on the principles of rigid immobilization, image guidance, and accurate targeting. SBRT is generally perceived to be resource-intensive by nature, which can be daunting to radiation oncologists equipped with standard linear accelerators outside of top-tier centers. Globally, many centers at varying levels of resource availability seek to adopt SBRT for its logistical benefits for patients and health care systems.
